BUT i will say that he was in Stand By Me, AND Gremlins AND The Lost Boys AND Goonies, so he's golden until the day he dies. Also, at least it's obvious he writes his own songs, which is more than you can say for a lot of A-list stars that get writing credits (talking to you, Beyoncé).
