'David Fincher's Facebook Movie' or 'How to Squander Good Will and Talent'

Behold, the preview for 'The Social Network.' This SHIT could not possibly be less interesting. How the fuck do you go from making movies like Se7en, The Game, Fight Club, Zodiac, and EVEN the Curious Case of Benjamin Button to a movie about FACEBOOK?!? Somebody needs to take David Fincher aside and forcefeed him crystal meth and peyote until he gets an original idea. I mean, Benjamin Button was bad enough, but A FACEBOOK MOVIE? are you fucking JOKING?

  1. Oh I beg to differ, Sethly! I think he's taking something that seems innocuous or even boring and making it interesting. And I like young Jesse Eisenberg so it could be great. It could also end up like Benjamin Button. . .sucky, creepy, disturbing, lame, shall I go on. . .

  2. Aaron Sorkin did write the screenplay... I sort of love him. I don't care for Jesse Eisenberg, though. Michael Cera sort of ushered in this young male actor aesthetic where they say and do everything with a flat affect, except nobody does Michael Cera less is more better than Michael Cera, and so it's basically like catatonia getting credit for nuance that IS NOT THERE. JE is like the 'dramatic' version of this idea. So to review: Michael Cera is awesome. The reason he is awesome has been misinterpreted and badly translated by his peers, thus JE. He sucks. he's wallpaper paste with a jew-fro.
